When converting a property into an HMO, there are various options available to cover the costs of the build. HMO mortgages work similarly to buy-to-let mortgages, usually being taken on an interest only basis on a fixed or variable interest rate.

Some landlords opt for bridging loans to convert properties into HMOs. A bridging loan essentially acts like a "bridge" between short term and long term finance. It's designed as a short term solution, and is an option for obtaining large funding quickly.
HMO Valuation
